Delta chapters conduct programs/projects designed to address the need for excellence in education by offering mentoring, educational activities, and service-learning opportunities to the participants. Now more than ever, our young people need all the support we can offer to assist them in understanding and navigating the challenges of inequality and injustice that plague our society’s educational, healthcare, legal and political systems. Indeed, it “takes a village.” Our goal is to empower youth to broaden their perspectives and to begin or continue to see themselves as an important part of our national and global community.
